I dont think PDX have the measures put in place to reliably identify who the 'hackers' are to be able to remove their access to the game, without also refunding the money the consumer paid. The core of my original statement revolves around this good reason. A caveat to this seems to be if the company has a good reason to change the contract or go back on their word. To the best of my understanding, the consumers purchase the product with the understanding that they will be able to access its content. Those consumer protections classify basically any transaction as a form of contract, and prohibits the company from being able to cancel contracts, or allow the company to "get out" of contracts if it suits them. I'll admit that I am not overly fsmiliar with them as I am not from the EU, but a lot of people on this forum probably are, and the devs themselves are.
